The Serph’s prayer
Creator
You are the one who brings order out of chaos,
we ask that You would move in the mess.
Counselor
You are the light in the midst of all darkness,
kindle wisdom and make a helpful way known.
Comforter
You bind up the bruised, bludgeoned and broken, mend the misery of mind, the hurting heart, heal.
Breaker
Bust open barriers and all which binds or buries, and set the suffering free to mend and hope.
Breather
May the lungs of the Lord of life blow animating winds that awaken the desperate, dying or dead.
Blesser
He whose paths drip of fatness and sweetness, may this mess be found better than ever before.
